The Durga-devi Zone of Jim Corbett National Park allows only 15 Jeeps to pass through in each shift, morning and evening shifts. The weather may have had an influence on the Durgadevi Zone as it located in the hilly area Jim Corbett; it is open from the middle of October until June. Only 15 Jeeps are permitted through the Durgadevi Zone entry gate each morning and evening shift. It is closed from June until November. For the Indian citizens, visitors must pre-register their safar from the official website of Jim Corbett National Park, 30 days prior to the visit date and foreign visitors must do so 45 days prior.

  Fauna & Flora in Durga-devi Tourism Zone
The Durgadevi Eco-Tourism Zone shares the same flora and fauna as the other zones of Jim Corbett National Park, making it equally likely to see various animal species there. The main attraction of Durgadevi zone is the Bird species as this zone is located in the hilly area of ramnagar so if you’re a bird watcher then this safari zone is your next stop; apart from birds’ wildlife species like Royal Bengal Tiger, Asiatic Elephant, different species of deer (Sambhar, Barking, Hog, Spotting) and Wild Boar etc. could be seen here.

  Attraction
The biggest attraction of Corbett is the diversity of wildlife. Every person who comes to Corbett does so with a certain objective in mind. Due to the diverse flora and wildlife, there are many opportunities to see animals at this Corbett site. If you enjoy the outdoors or animals, this location is frequently adjacent to hilly beauty. From the middle of October until the end of June, the zone is accessible. Within the zone, the safari lasts for three hours. To arrange for your entry permission to enter into the registered zone, you must visit the official website that has been approved by the government.
  Distance
The entry gate to Durga-devi is approximately 28 kilometers from Ramnagar, and the only Jeep safaris are available in this zone for day visit.

  Open & Closing Time:
Open- The Durga-devi zone opens from middle of October to 15 June.
Close – From June till the monsoon season stops, it remains closed.
  Durga-Devi Eco-Tourism zone Entry Timing-
Durgadevi zone entry gate name is same as ‘Durga-devi’, and the entry time to enter the entry gate is given below-
Winter Timing:
Morning = 7:00-10:00 A.M.
Afternoon = 2:00-5:00 P.M.
Summer Timing:
Morning= 6:00-9:30 A.M.
Afternoon= 3:00-6:30 P.M.
Whether the boarding timing is 30-45 mins. prior to the Entry gate Time.
